Packable Viscosity (High Viscosity)
The defining characteristic of B&E Packable Composite is its high filler load and dense consistency. This high viscosity makes the material stiff and truly “packable,” allowing the clinician to condense it firmly into the cavity preparation using standard placement instruments, in a manner similar to amalgam.

Ease of Contact Establishment
The stiff nature of the material helps it remain in position without slumping, which is highly advantageous when restoring complex proximal boxes. This handling property makes it significantly easier to achieve tight, anatomically correct interproximal contacts compared to traditional flowable or sculptable hybrid composites.

Low Shrinkage and High Strength
Due to its high filler content (often approaching 80% or more by weight), the composite demonstrates excellent mechanical properties, including high compressive strength, superior wear resistance, and minimal polymerization shrinkage. This combination makes it highly suitable for withstanding the heavy occlusal forces in posterior restorations.

Non-Sticky Handling
The formulation is engineered to be less tacky and less prone to sticking to placement instruments, which greatly simplifies the packing, shaping, and contouring process during restoration.

Shade Stability and Aesthetics
Although optimized for posterior strength, B&E Packable Composite is available in multiple aesthetic shades, allowing the final restoration to blend naturally with the surrounding tooth structure. It achieves a strong balance between durability and acceptable esthetics.

Radiopacity
The composite is highly radiopaque, ensuring clear visibility against tooth structure on radiographs. This feature is essential for the accurate detection of secondary caries and marginal defects during follow-up examinations.
