1. Polishing Discs (48 Pieces – 14 mm Diameter)
These snap-on polishing discs are designed for use with a low-speed contra-angle handpiece. They are organized into four sequential grit stages to allow gradual and controlled surface refinement.
-
Gross Reduction (Coarse – Blue): Used for rapid removal of large excesses of composite material and initial rough contouring.
-
Contouring (Medium – Green): Used for refining the anatomical form and defining secondary contours.
-
Finishing (Fine – Yellow): Used to smooth the surface and eliminate major scratches left by coarse abrasives.
-
Polishing (Superfine – White): Used to achieve the final high-luster polish that closely mimics natural enamel.
2. Finishing and Polishing Strips (75 Pieces)
These flexible abrasive strips are specifically designed to access and polish interproximal areas (between teeth) that are inaccessible to polishing discs. They follow the same sequential grit system for complete surface refinement:
-
Gross Reduction Strips (Blue/Green): Used to remove proximal excess material and break contact point flash.
-
Contouring Strips (Green/Yellow): Used for shaping and smoothing the proximal contour.
-
Polishing Strips (Yellow/White): Used to achieve a smooth, high-gloss final polish on interproximal surfaces.
3. Mandrel (1 Piece – RA Type)
The kit includes one latch-type (RA) mandrel that is designed to securely attach the polishing discs to the low-speed contra-angle handpiece. This ensures stable disc fixation and safe, controlled rotational performance during use.
