The German edge in every rotation.

Key Features and Technology

Superior Diamond Coating
OkoDent burs utilize advanced electroplating techniques to bond natural or synthetic diamond particles onto the stainless steel shank and working head. This process is performed under strict quality control to ensure a uniform, dense, and highly durable abrasive layer, delivering consistent cutting performance.

High Cutting Efficiency
The high-quality diamond grit enables aggressive yet controlled cutting, making these burs ideal for rapid reduction of enamel, dentin, zirconia, ceramic, and porcelain. This high efficiency helps reduce heat generation and significantly shortens procedure time.

Precise Manufacturing and Concentricity
The stainless steel shanks are manufactured with high precision to ensure optimal concentricity (minimal run-out). This excellent balance minimizes vibration and chatter, resulting in smoother preparations, better clinical control, and increased patient comfort.

Graduated Grit Sizes (Color-Coded System)
OkoDent offers a comprehensive grit coding system indicated by colored rings on the shank, allowing precise instrument selection for each clinical stage:

  • Coarse / Super Coarse (Green / Black): For bulk reduction and initial shaping.

  • Medium (Blue): For general preparation and shaping.

  • Fine / Superfine (Red / Yellow): For smoothing, margin refinement, and pre-polishing.

Variety of Shapes and Shank Types
The burs are available in an extensive range of shapes, including round, flame, football, tapered fissure, and wheel designs. These shapes cover all major clinical applications such as crown and bridge preparation, veneer preparation, operative dentistry, and precise margin refinement. They are supplied in FG (friction grip) form for high-speed handpieces.

Longevity and Sterilization Resistance
Thanks to the strong diamond–metal bonding, OkoDent burs retain their cutting ability through intensive clinical use and repeated autoclaving cycles, ensuring long service life and reliable performance.
