Mirror Type (Front Surface – FS)

This mirror is based on Front Surface (FS) technology, which is considered the gold standard in dental mirrors. In this design, the reflective layer is positioned on the front side of the glass, completely eliminating the “double image” or ghost image effect that occurs with conventional rear-surface mirrors.

The mirror delivers a bright, sharp, and distortion-free image with high contrast and exceptional clarity. This superior visual performance makes it easier to identify fine clinical details and significantly reduces eye fatigue during prolonged procedures.

Coating Technology

The MEGA line typically features a reflective coating made of Rhodium or Titanium/Chrome, with Rhodium being the most common. Rhodium is a precious metal known for its excellent chemical resistance, including resistance to acids, while maintaining a bright, natural color reflection.

Design – MEGA Slim Profile

The mirror features a “MEGA Slim” design, characterized by an optimized, slender shape. This design allows for better intraoral access, comfortable clinician handling, and easier cheek retraction during examinations and procedures.

Durability and Sterilization Resistance

The mirror offers absolute resistance to sterilization processes. Both the mirror surface and the stainless steel frame are designed to withstand repeated high-temperature autoclave cycles and chemical disinfection without degradation, ensuring an extended service life.

Material and Finish

The mirror head is manufactured from satin-finished stainless steel. This matte or satin surface helps prevent unwanted glare and light reflection from the dental operating light, improving visual comfort and focus.

Thread and Handle Compatibility

The mirror is equipped with a standard thread, such as Simple Stem (SS) or Cone Socket (CS). This ensures full compatibility with all standard dental mirror handles, allowing easy attachment and replacement.
