Function
This kit is designed to be used with a specialized retaining ring (not included in the matrix pack but essential to the system). The ring provides the separation force needed to press the matrix tightly against the adjacent tooth, ensuring proper containment and shaping of the restorative material.
Contour (Anatomy)
Each matrix is precisely pre-contoured to mimic the natural convex anatomy of the proximal tooth surface. This results in superior anatomical form, ideal marginal ridge height, and excellent embrasure formation when compared to traditional circumferential matrix systems.
Material and Thickness
The matrices are constructed from high-quality, durable stainless steel. For clinical flexibility, they are typically available in two thickness options:

0.050 mm (Standard): Offers strength and rigidity for most restorative cases.

0.035 mm (Ultra-thin): Ideal for very tight interproximal spaces where minimal matrix thickness is essential.

System Integration
